The Yamaha FG740SFM-VCS features 0.3mm thinner back
and sides material for greater resonance, increased volume and wider frequency
response. UV finished technology allows ultra-thin mid and top coats to be used.
0.25mm total finish thickness allows maximum resonance. Slimmed upper and lower
neck sides for extreme comfort and playability.

Wow,
Just played one at the store and was truly impressed! A very experienced salesman confided to me that he's heard 2,000 guitars that don't sound as full. This may be my new run around guitar and let my Larrivee stay indoors.
